When I was younger, I loved to go out clubbing or to parties. However, in recent years I tend to go out to eat rather than to dance. Santiago has some great restaurants and you can eat out quite cheaply. There are "picadas" like Golfo di Napoli for wonderful pizza or pasta or slightly more expensive places with wonderful International cuisine like Thai House or Olan (Peruvian). I am a Pescatarian, I eat fish and seafood but not meat (of other kind) so that is always a factor when I eat out.
I don’t think I have a favorite kind of food. There are some foods that I do not like much, for example Korean food. I suppose it is because the meat dishes are the specialty I don't eat it. I love very hot food, lots of spices and taste. This goes from a nice "pebre" to a sophisticated curry or pie.
There is a nice Indian in Santiago. It is a bit pricy but it is really nice. It is called Rishtedar . Many of the dishes are spicy hot and there is a scale of spiciness from 1 to 6 (from mild to blow-your-head-off). I love spicy food but grade 4 is as hot as I can stand.

I also love places like “el naturista” in the center, where you can enjoy porotos Granados or fantastic quinoa dishes for a very reasonable price.
Write about somewhere you like to eat out .
Say:
What it’s called,
Where it is,
What it serves,
What you like to eat there.
Mention anything else you thing is important. Write at least 175 words. Leave a comment on my blog and on the blogs of 3 classmates.
Pizza is one of my favorite foods, I think that Italian food is very nice because the majority of their foods contain chesse.

Oh, I didn't knew you were pescatarian. I'm vegetarian but I don't eat any kind of fishes because I think fish industry can be very destructive with ocean and river environment. Really nice article anyways, thank you very much for sharing this with us!

I really love the spice food, and I have taste lot types of peppers in different plates, but never in a curry like the Indian food, must I go to taste those dishes too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful restaurant is "Golfo di Napoli". I remember when it was located at Pedro de Valdivia with Irarrázabal, a really small place for a lot of people. So cheap and really nice portions.
ReplyDeleteOh I really love the food posts. It was a great idea!
ReplyDeleteIn my city, the homemade is the best. I hope meet "El naturista".

You have to go to "Chicken Story". Is a Korean restaurant. I think if you go there, you going to change your mind because you are going to love the Korean food.
ReplyDeleteI did not read that you are pescatarian :(.
DeleteI love all food (except vegetables), but now I do not want to talk about it because I'm sick to my stomach :(
ReplyDeleteFirst of all. I'm sorry for not going to class today. I had some trouble, so I couldn't go. But I'm doing the activity now :).
ReplyDeleteI've been vegetarian for almost five years, so, one of my favorite places for eating out with my family is "El Naturista", but we think that every year the food become a little bit more expensive !
Anyway, now, there are many vegetarian alternatives, and some of them are cheaper than "El naturista" haha
Regards!
